Dr. mArgaret A. Liu, was born in the year 1964, in Asia, and is still alive to this day contributing to the world of science. Margaret s an Asian female, who is now 52 years old . She went to hArvard Medical School from 1977-1981Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris from 1976-1977, and Colorado College from 1973-1977 and erned her bahelores degree in summa cum laude cum laude.

Life Obstacle

Margaret may have been faced with some ethic and or racial stigma, which could set her apart from the normality of American Scientists. This could have limited the oppourtunities she had, even though she succesfully made it through and completed many years in some prestigious colleges.

Margaret A. Liu, M.D., age 52, has served as a member of our Board of Directors since March 2005. She consults for companies and consortia in the fields of vaccines and cancer immunotherapy in the U.S. and Europe. She is currently a Foreign Adjunct Professor, and from 2003 to 2007, was a Visiting Professor at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm. From 2000 to 2002 Dr. Liu was the Senior Advisor in Vaccinology for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. She also helps develope and manage the operation of creating new vaccines for the under privilege and poorer third world countries.

Scientific Contributions

All in all Margaret Liu is a very important woman in science, by helping the poorer countries by developing new vaccines and finding new innovtive ways to deliver these vaccines to them. She has worked with many different people to impact the people of the 21 century tremendously. She has definetly impacted people globaly in the 21 century, an has made great progress on keeping people of the world happy and healthy
