Manu National Park

It extends from 300 meters above sea level at the confluence of the Manu River with the Madre de Dios River, to the 3800 meters at the summit of the mountain Apu Kañajhuay. Some researchers believe in the virgin areas of this reserve is Païtiti or the lost city of the Incas.

Manu National Park is a protected area located in southeastern Peru, located partly in the departments of Madre de Dios and Cusco, in the provinces of Manu and Paucartambo.
