Jan Papirmeister, Executive Director of Youth Art for Healing shared this video about opportunities for students to help heal their communities through the arts.

Rob Levit, Founding Director of Creating Communities delivered an inspiring keynote presentation Creating the Confort Zone as participants sketched in journals and on grafitti tables.

Teachers, counselors, mentors and pupil personnel workers joined together for this powerful professional development event exploring the many ways the visual arts can promote healing as well as learning for young people. Four presenters, two hands-on workshops and a day of connecting with colleagues empowerd participants with strategies for implementing positive, meaningful visual arts experiences.
