Madam C.J. Walker, born Sarah Breedlove, created specialized hair products for African-American hair and was one of the first American women to become a self-made millionaire.She was born in the rural area of Louisiana in the year 1867. Her parents were former slaves, however, when she reached the age of 7, her parents died. Madam CJ Walker and her sister worked in the cotton fields in the country of Vicksburg and Delta Mississippi. She got married at the age of 14 and had only a single daughter, born in the year 1885. After two years of marriage, her husband died.
