Did you know that a blood moon tetrad has its name due to the red hue casted on the moon?

There is a minimum of two, and a maximum of five eclipses every year.

The only time a lunar ecplice occurs is when the moon passes through the Earth's shadow while it is a full moon. When in the umbra shadown of the Earth, the moon is competly covered by the shadow.
