When he was nine, he came to the United States with his family. They moved to the lowest east of Mahattan.
He survived a savage attack. He had been abducted by a group of men, who beat and stabbed him .

He got involved in dealing drugs. He was caught selling heroin and served 6 months at a reformatory for the crime.
The "father" of organized crime was born on November 24 in Sicily, Italy.
He droppped out of school and graduated to other offenses. While he worked as a clerk for a hat company for some time, he managed to a budding crimminal career as well.
Had been appointed the top Lieutenant of Gieuseppi "Joe the Boss" Masseria, a head of New Yorks largest crime family.
He killed Masseria and Marazano.Masseria: RevengeMarazano: Marazano thought Lucky was a threat and wanted to hurt him. When Lucky heard about this he orderd his men to kill Marazano.
Died of a heart-attack at Naples Airport on January 26.
He and 8 other people were brought to trail and they were convicted on extortion and prostitution charges. They were sentenced to 30-50 years in jail.
Lucky: from his murderous attacks, like the one in 1929 that gave him his scarred chin and drooping right eye. His nickname attributed to his gambling luck or to a simple mispronunciation of his last name.
