Little Blue Penguin
Standing at only 13 inches (33 cm) in height, the Little Blue is the smallest penguin in the world. They get their name from their small size and their blue tinted feathers.
This penguin prefers a sandy/grassy habitat and can be found in Australia and in South America.
The Little Blue Penguin uses small holes in the sand or grassy places to build nests. The female will usually lay 2 eggs at a time. The male and female penguin will then take turns guarding the eggs and keeping them warm.
