Challenge InfoStudents Rebuild's goal is to o improve youth reading and writing skills around the world. Students, teacher, or fact anyone can help with this movement by making book marks. More bookmarks equals more money raised for the cause. Each bookmark sent , the Bezos Family Foundation will donate $1 to Save the Children’s Literacy Boost program in Peru, Mali and Nepal.
More than 2,500 primary schools have been set up in Mali to inforce basic education at the elementary level and yet the literacy rate in MAli is 46%. Another area of concern is the adult literacy rate. Almost 60% of the total adult Mali population is illiterate.
Peru ranks amongst the world's great centers of ancient civilization. The estimated literacy rate in Peru is 85%.Of every 200 children who start school in Pueblo Libre, one of the poorest neighborhoods in Peru, only 17 will go on to graduate.

The last official data, National Census 2011, puts Nepal’s literacy rate at 65.9 percent. According to Tapa Raj Patna, national programme officer at Unesco, Nepal will be the first country to dub itself “total literate”.
