Moon Over Manifest

"And a mother's love is fierce. The Great Bear will watch over you."

My favorite scene was when Jack and Early go to an abandoned shack in the middle of the woods. In this scene it said that the curtains were a soft red and the coffee mug was making a "plink, plink, plink" sound whenever a raindrop fell through a hole in the ceiling and hit the mug.

I would recomend this Book. I think the theme of this book is friendship because on their journey Early and Jack learn each others likes and dislikes, beliefs and disbeliefs. I think the theme of this book is really engaging. I'm so glad I read this book.

Early Auden is a creative boy who sees the # Pi as a wonderous story. His parents are dead and his older brother is lost at war. Early is living in the basement of a boarding school in Maine.

The setting was in Maine. The boarding school was huge and the basement where Early stayed was dark with only one window. The forest was cold and damp with leaves falling and making the pond ripple.

Jack Baker is a brave teen that lived in Kansas. After his mom's death, he must move to a boarding school in Maine with his stubborn dad. Jack's father takes everything away that reminds him of his wife.
