Life Cycle of a Tomato Plant

First, you must have a seed. You plant the seed in soil.

The seed will need water and sunlight.

How does a tomato plant grow?

After 5–6 days, the tomato seed will become a seedling. Watch this video to see what happens above the soil!

Roots grow below the soil.

Later, the seedling becomes a mature plant like the one in this picture.

The yellow flower gets pollinated and transforms into a tomato over time.

The mature plant begins to have flowers.
