What was its importance/why was it built?Alexandria Library has a lot of books about math, astronomy, mechanics, and medicine. The Library has more information than any other library. The library was built because they want to help the people to learn about these thing and to expand their knowledge.

Why was the library destroyed?It was Juluis Ceaser but it was an accident because he set a fire to Egyptian ships in the harbor and it spread.
