Lesson 3.2 Function Composition and Decomposition

The combined effect of perfiorming a first function and then a second function is called the composite of the functions.

Composition: combining functions: applying one function to the output of another

Definition of g(f(x)) Suppose that f and g are functions. The composite of g with f is g(f(x))

Domain: set of all x in the domain of f for whcih f(x) is in the domain of g

Composite function is NOT function multiplication
