Leonardo Da Vinci was bornon April 15, 1452 in Vini, Italy. He died on May 2, 1519 in Amboise, France at age 67. He was known for being a writer, mathematician, inventor and artist.
1452 - Leonardo was born on April 151472 - At age 20 he was accepted into the painters guide of Florence1481 - Leonardo begins working on The Adoration of Magi1483 - Leonardo paints the Virgin of Rocks 1495 - Leonardo begins working on The Last Supper1498 - The Last Supper was completed1500 - Leonardo begins painting The Virgin and Child with Saint Anne, and returns to Florence 1503 -Leonardo was commissioned to paint The Mona Lisa 1519 - On May 2, Leonardo died in France
-Leonardo invented a revolving bridge to navigate armies over bodies of water.-Even though the first helicopter wasn't built until the 1940s, Leonardo sketched out a modern day flying machine.-Leonardo invented a armoured car which was capable of moving any direction and was equipped with a large number of weapons.

Leonardo da Vinci was a pioneer because he was the first to invent the Flying Machine sketches, a Revolving Brdge, and the Armoured car. He also was a pioneer because he painted the Mona Lisa and The Last Supper along with many other paintings.
