Write to Lemony Snicket:

->Handler was born in 1970 in San Francisco, California->Handler's father fled the Holocaust at a very early age and told his son stories about his childhood. ->This made Handler aware that terrible things sometimes happen to children and that life can be very difficult and heartbreaking; hence, his books.->Handler is married to Lisa Brown and has one daughter.FUN FACTS!*Daniel Handler plays the accordian!*Handler first invented the name, Lemony Snicket to keep his name off of unwanted mail lists!*Handler's inspiration is Edward Gorey, an author who wrote tragic tales as well. *Handler never wanted to write children's books because he thought they were so fake and happy compared to life which is not always like that. *His editor is the one who convinced him to write children's books! *Handler hated books that were overly happy, even as a child. *The darkness in his stories comes from the rage he has for how children's books normally are.

Lemony Snicket

-> Snicket is a member of a secret organization.->He writes about the lives of the Baudelaire orphans->He does not want you to read his books!->He does not like to be videotaped or photographed->Not much else is known about Lemony Snicket.....
