Memory-A child might have memory problems that interfere with his ability to retrieve (remember) basic arithmetic facts quickly.-In the upper grades, memory problems may influence a child’s ability to recall the steps needed to solve more difficult word problems,to recall the steps in solving algebraic equations, or to remember what specific symbols mean.
