Summary

Greg Heffley's friend Rowley finds a girlfriend and Greg is jealous. Greg tries to find a replacement friend so he picks Fregley. Fregley doesnt do anything that Greg wants him to do right. So then Abigail, Rowley's girlfriend, told Rowley that she was sorry and she was only dating him so she can make her x-boyfriend jealous.

I do recommend you reading this book because it is really funny and entertaining to read. Also, the story gets interesting in the middle of the book.

The characters in this book are Greg, Rowley, Manny, Rodrick, Mom, Dad, Abigail, and the Mingo Kids. The setting in this book is mainly in the school. The plot is when Rowley finds a girlfriend. The conflict is when Rowley finds a girlfriend and Greg tries to make Rowley jealous by finding a new friend. The resolution is when Abigail dumps Rowley and Greg and Rowley become friends again. The theme to this book is to never give up on your friends. Greg's point of view is that he is jealous of Rowley. The author's purpose is to entertain. The character's development would probably be that he took a long time to create cartoon characters with each character having his or her unique voice.
