Birth-DeathOctober 1, 1899- November 18, 1886

HUNGARY

Greatest works and accomplishments:He laid the foundation for 20th century hungarian choral music because he was a professor at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest Hungary. He reformed the sylabus emphasising the importance of choral conductors

Highlight of his career:Won the Kossuth Prize and started the Magyar Korus publishing firm. He wrote almost 800 pieces all together.
