lab report

How to write a lab paper:

Hypothesis: A testable statement or question, usually includes the independent and dependent variables to be tested.

Background information: Tell the reader information they might find useful to understand the lab

Procedure: Dear Diary, today in lab I . . . . . . . . (Be sure to include how you changed things, measured things, equipment used to do these and the observations you made). Write in first person past tense, never use the word "you". It is YOUR report, not mine!

Directions for using LoggerPro software to create a data table and a graph

Analyze your data and make note of observations you made. Explain your equations, especially things like the y intercept and the slope of a line or the shape of a curve.

Conclude by relating to your hypothesis.
