The Indo-Australian plate and Eurasian plate was the two plates where involved with the eruption one was oceanic and one was continental. (partners in crime)
In 1883 Indonesia, Krakatoa exploded sending all kinds of debris flying everywhere. Then after the updraft could no longer hold the shape of the valcano it collapsed in on itself.
Krakatoa is a composite volcano. This volcano was the loudest thing ever recorded in history and was heard 3,000 miles away.
Krakatoa sent a tsunami 140 feet tall. Krakatoa droped the averrge temperature by 1.2 degrees because of all of the ash blocking the sun. All of the ash efected the British and U.S.A sun sets making them green and blood red. Krakatoa also destroyed 2/3 of the island.
