KrakatoaKrakatoa is an active composite volcano. It's located in the indonesian islands. Its last big eruption was on August 27, 1883. Its known for its large sounding eruptions. It was heard all the way from Australia.

1) 300 villages were destroyed and 36,000 people were killed in august 27,1883 explosion!2) Houses were cracked open 100 mi. away.3) Bodies and wreckage were seen floating in the sea for days afterwards
