The Kodak no.1 (1888) The Kodak no.1 was invented in1888 by George Eastman. It used a roll film, that was easier than the wet plate technique. It took about 30 seconds to take 1 photo. When the Kodak no.1 was put on the market, a national craze happened. In 1900, more than 1 million cameras were sold.
