BiographyKobe Bryant was born in August 23, 1978 at Philadelphia. When he was four years old his whole family went to Italy so his dad could play basketball there. When his dad started playing he was one of the best in Italy. Everybody wanted him on their team. 5 years later they moved back to the U.S.A. Kobe wasn't used to the slang they spoke there because he was gone for a long time and got used to speaking Italian. After a while Kobe got into the Lower Merion High School team where they made it to the finals and lost. He then got accepted to one of the best high schools in the state which is called the Aces. They wo the state championship the first year when Kobe averaged 22 points a game that season. He then decided to go into the NBA draft and he got drafted by the Charlotte Hornets but then got traded to the Los Angeles Lakers. They ended up winning three championships in a row starting at the second year Kobe got on the team. Kobe was accomponied by hall of famer Shaquille O' Neal and star Derek Fisher.

Kobe is one of the youngest players ever to get into the NBA at the age of 18. He went to several different middle schools and high schools. He won three championships in a row from 2001-2003 with the Los Angeles Lakers.
