Alexander the Great was a great "military genius"Alexander the great was a King of the Ancient Greek kingdom of Macedon and a member of the Argead dynasty. He was born in Pella in 356 BC, At the age of twenty, he surpassed his father, Philip II. He created one of the largest empires of the ancient world, by age thirty, by going on an unprecedented military campaign through Asia and northeast Africa for most of his ruiling years.
Alexander,”the military genius”, used a variety of military strategies.Evidence 1: At the river bank, Alexander moved his troops in different directions so that Porus would keep puzzled. Evidence 2: Alexander’s army made rafts for ferrying the men were made from hides wrapped around hay and sewn watertight. Evidence 3: Alexander boxed Porus’ army in, which caused Porus’ elephants to trample over Porus’ own men.
Alexander, “the military genius”, was able to conquer many territories. Evidence 1: Alexander built a causeway to Tyre, then conquered that island, killing 7 thousand Tyrians. Evidence 2: Alexander defeated Porus and his army on the eastern bank of the Hydaspes River in India. Evidence 3: Alexander conquered Persia and defeated the Persian King Darius III.
