King Tut

King Tut is known for his tomb, which was discovered in 1922. He took over Egypt and became king when we was 9 years old. He got married to Ankhesenamun, his half sister. He died at age 19, after he died it brought further turmoil to Egypt. King Tut was buried in a tomb in the Valley of the Kings. His tomb was discovered in 1922 from a british archaeologist, Howard Carter. Carter and a few archaeologist went inside King Tut's tomb and found items we have today. In the tomb some items were oil, perfumes, toys from his child hood, jewelry, and gold statues. Archaeologist and people now know so much about anctient Egypt because of the discovery of King Tut's tomb.

King Tut lived a good life when he was little. He was only 9 years old when he took over ancient Egypt. He was too yong to take over Egypt his advisor had to make some choices for him. Tut later on took contorl by himself.

When Tut became king he wanted to reestablish tradition, and undo his father's legacy. Once Egypt was back to normal, he threw parties to show his support. King Tut died at such a young age. How he died remains a mystery, but some people believe he was murdered

Some fun information on King Tut is that his full name is, Tutankhaten. Scientist have used technology to determin Tut's death, but still don't know what caused his death. When Howard Carter discovered Tut's tomb he saw that his tomb was surrounded by 5,000 priceless treasures.
