Performing orca in Seaworld
Specialised hunting strategy
Killer whales are the top predators in the ocean. Their prey varies from seals to rays to dolphins to whales. They have even been known to attck great white sharks.
Orcas can live up to 90 years in the wild but in captivity most only live untill their 20s. Males can be up to 9 metres in lenght and over 8 tonnes. Their dorsal fin can be as long as 2 metres. They are very opportunistic and social animals

We live in every ocean and are very adaptable.

A captive male orca called Tilikum has killed 3 humans while in Sea World. No wild orca has ever killed a human.
