Biography Julia Golding was born March 1969.She grew up near Epping Forest in London.She studied english when she went to the University of Cambridge.When she graduated she joined the Foreign Office where she worked in Poland.She married and had 3 kids Lucy,Edward,and Toby.After leaving Poland she went back to school at Oxford University to get a doctorate in the english romance period.After that she woked for Oxfam as a loddyist for conflicted issues.Now she lives in Oxford as a freelans writer.

Under the pen name Joss Stirling the Finding Sky Trilogy,Challenging Zed,Misty Falls,Raven Stone/Young Detectives Series,and coming in October,Angel Dares. As Eve Edwards she wrote the Lacy Cronicles and the World War 1 Duet.

AwardsShe won three awards for the first book in the Cat Royal series. She won the Waterstone's Childern's Book Prize,the Nestles Childrens Book Prize,and was short listed for the Costa Children;s Book Prize.
