Interesting Facts about Josephs Stalin: Joseph Stalin had a rough childhood, and at age seven, he came down with smallpox, and got scars on his face as a result. Joseph Stalin tried to work with Adolf Hitler in the beginning of World War II, but Hitler had a deep hated for Stalin, which resulted in Hitler attacking the Soviet Union during World War II. Stalin's last name means "man of steel".

Joseph Stalin was born on the year, 1878, in Gori, Georgia. Joseph Stalin was best known for being the leader of the Soviet Union, proceeding Vladimir Lenin. A very brutal, cold-hearted person, Joseph Stalin was responsible for the deaths of millions of people, causing these millions of peole to die from starvation, labor camps, being killed, etc. In addition, he was also responsible for starting the Cold War. He played a crucial role in World War II, where he teamed up with the United States and Britian, and won a battle against Adolf Hitler and the Germans. Joseph Stalin died on March 5, 1953 in Kunstevo Data from cerebral hemmorrhage.
