Joseph Hayden

MUSICMost of Hayden wrote was written to please and delight a prince, and its emotional tone is correspondingly upbeat. This tone reflects his fundamentally healthy and well-balanced personality. Hayden differed from Mozart and Beethoven in the composition of sonata form. He often rearranged the order of themes compared to the exposition and uses extensive thematic development. Hayden was a naturally upbeat and happy person, this really translated into his music; this contributes to what makes him so special. For example, in his "Suprise" symphony there is a sudden fast chord in a slow movement. What makes him so special is that he translates his feeling into music . Who else gives a musical autobiography?
