On October 25th, 1925 for the first time ever John Logie Baird transmitted the first moving image. In 1927 he demonstrated the color television and phonovision, a system that made video recordings. In 1928 he made the first transatlantic image transmisson from London to New York. By 1930 he had doveloped a system to broadcast sound to go along with the image.

Biography
John Logie Baird was a scottish inventor. He was born in 1888 and died in 1946. Although he did not win any awards, his invention helps us watch things on VCR's today. His invention was called the televisor. In 1931 he married Margaret Albu and had 2 children named Malcolm and Diana. The last broadcast using John Logie Baird's system happened in 1937. He was also the first one to make a color television and the first broadcast happened in 1927.
