Birth DateJohn Keats was born in London, England, on October 31, 1795 and was the oldest of his 4 siblings. He died in Rome, Italy, on February 23, 1821.

1. John Keats would get into school fights and would usualy win them. He was tough and was thought to get in the military or something like that and not doing poetry. 2. Another interesting fact is that he was the oldest of his 4 siblings. His sister, Frances, was born in 1803. He also had 3 brothers, Tom was born in 1799, Edward was born in 1801, and George was born in 1797.3. His brother Edward died as an infant. It was a tragic moment in his life.

6. He had a lot of fun with his friend. He would play practical jokes on his friends. When they would go to a concert, they would all pretend to play an instrument.7. Keats strongly disliked to dance. People say because he was 5 ft and that was the height of a woman's breast line. He pictured that it was embarrassing.

4. At age 10 his mother abandons him and leaves the 4 children with their grandma. John later suffers from chronic anxiety. His mother returns 3 ½ years later sick with tuberculosis and rheumatism. John then nurses her for a year until she dies. 5. John registered for Guy’s Hospital on October 2nd, 1815. Even though he was studying for medical reasons, poetry interested him more.
