John Hart

John Hart was alive during many wars but that didn't stop him from making a mark on New Hampshire's history. As a matter of fact it helped him. John suffered from several tragic family events however he grew up to be a respectable colonel in two wars, to make a lasting, but little known mark on New Hampshire's history.

Accomplishments

John Hart was 22 years older than John Stark.July 8, 1706 - October 30, 1777

John Hart lived for 72 years in an extremely dangerous time. Many wars were going on like the war of Austrian Succession in Europe witch lasted from 1740 to 1748. Meanwhile, the War of Jenkins' ear raged between 1739 to 1748. At the same time Spain fought against Britain in King Georges war. In the midst of it all John Hart led his troops into war to protect his country as a famous colonel.
