"I later spent times of the order of five to eight months in hospitals in New Jersey, always on an involuntary basis, and always attempting a legal argument for release."After being admitted to institutions several times John never gave up and was committed to his work.

"I knew it was good work, but you cannot know how much something will be appreciated in the future. You don't have that crystal ball."Nash maintained modesty despite the incredible nature of his mathematical formulas.

"I know that if I could really understand mental illness, then it would be appropriate to make a big career shift. I would become a therapist and a leader in terms of mental illness. But I'm not in the position."Despite his insight and his brilliance, Nash never felt he could completely grasp his own mental state.

Game theory is a branch of mathematics which examines the rivalries between competitors with mixed interests.Nash Equilibrium,” a state where rivals in a game, a negotiation or a competition can’t advance their gains by changing their positions and thus reach a steady state.
