JOHN BROWNTHE FIRST AMERICAN HERO

"The crimes of this guilty land will never be purged away but with blood" - John Brown

Risking his life to help the enslaved population escape- Yes- John Brown was a HERO.

Fighting for a cause so passionately as to kill and maim, and being able to say that it was a good cause- yes, this makes Brown a HERO.

John Brown was a radical abolitionist who believed the best way to abolish slavery was through using extreme force. During Bleeding Kansas, Brown and his followers led many attacks on pro-slavery inabitants, and continued to gather more supporters. This marked him as a hero in the north, and a hero in our hearts.

John Brown was the first American hero. Brown fought against slavery supporters, and worked tirelessly to free the slaves. John Brown is the epitome of heroism and patriotism.
