John A Macdonald was born on January 11 1815 his exact birth remains a mystery. Macdonald had a mother and father but no siblings. Macdonald was just 5 when he was brought to Kingston where he was tought rhetoric, Latin, Greek, grammer, arithmetic and geography.

John A. Macdonald was the first prime minister of Canada, he helped bring the provinces upper Canada and lower Canada, Nova scotia and New Brunswick to make Canada in 1867. After that he brought Britsh Columbia, PEI, and North West Territories to Canada.
