Japan has many moutains. Many of them are active volcanoes. The largest mountain is Mt. Fujiyama on the island Honshu. It is not far from Tokyo. Tokyo is Japan's capital and largest city. There are many forests in Japan. The most popular tree is the Cherry tree. Cherry trees are grown all over Japan.

Japan is one of the richest nations in the world. Japan manufactures electronic devices, such as computers, cell phones, cameras, and copiers. These goods are a major export and sold all over the world. Watch the video to see the advances they have made in robotics.

Japan is located in Asia. It is a chain of islands, called an Archipelago. The four main islands of Japan are: Hokkaido in the North; Honshu, the largest island; Shikoku; and Kyushu.
