Formed through subduction process by the pressure and heat that also forms volcanoes. The lower plate carries the chemicals necessary for the creation of the two types of jade: nephrite and jadeite.

Used for healing (especially kidney disease), was put directly to the skin for treatment. Also known as bridge between life and death.
