Jackson Pollock

Style of my artist. Jackson Pollock’s style of art was abstract. Abstract means abstract art definition. A trend in painting and sculpture in the twentieth century. Abstract art seeks to break away from traditional representation of physical objects. It explores the relationships of forms and colors, whereas more traditional art represents the world in recognizable images

World of my artist World war 2 was going on during this time. Thomas Hart Benton. Early on in his career, during the 1930s, he worked in the Regionalist style, and he was also influenced by Mexican muralist painter Digo Rivera, and by much of the work in Surrealism, the art forms which were popular during this period. Important eventThe important events in his life are, his painting’s were in a museum, when he first started painting, and his life. In the summer of 1956, Krasner took a trip to Europe to get some distance from Pollock, and soon after the painter began a relationship with 25 year old artist Ruth Kligman, who he had met at the Cedar Bar. Then, on the night of August 11, 1956, while Pollock was drunk and out driving with Kligman and her friend, Edith Metzger, he lost control of the car, killing himself and Metzger, and seriously injuring Kligman.
