After 9 years of working at the Lindbergh Cadillac dealership Jack started a car leasing business in the dealership with his employer targeting people who's cars were in the shop. In 1969 Jack's leasing business expanded out side of St.Louis, he then changed he name to Enterprise named after the naval ship.He started to focus on airports and also offered home pickup services.After 25 years the company reaced 1 billion in revenue and bought two rental car companies.

Jack Taylor was the oldest sibling with only one brother.In 1940 he went to business school at Washington University. He then left school to join the Navy.
