Italy lies in the Southern Part of Europe in the North Eastern Hemisphere and is 301,340 square kilometres in size. Italy's longitude and latitude is 43.0000 degrees North and 12.0000 degrees East.
The environment of Italy can be divided into 5 regions, the Italian Alps, the Po Valley, the Apulian Foreland, the Tyrrhenian Foreland, and lastly the Islands. Italy has many different environments such as mountains, lakes, and etc.
Italy is divided into 20 regions. Italys approximate population now days is 60.92 million people. some physical regions in Italy are beaches, mountains, valleys, lakes, islands (Sicily and Sardinia), volcanoes etc.
In Italy people often use cars to move from place to place. Some examples of movement in Italy are cars, airplanes, bycicles, immigration, etc.
Italy's climate is characterized by warm and dry summers, and mild, wet winters. In North Italy the climate is usally more cold and wet, and in mid and southern Italy it is usally more dry and warm because its closer the the equator.
Human interaction is how the people of Italy treat their enviroment . Italy is surrounded by sea so they eat a lot of seafood and go fshing quite often. Italy also has volcanoes and high mountains and that is good for growing crops.
