Haven for Hope accepts individual and group volunteers. You must take a tour of the Haven for Hope campus and complete an application in order to volunteer.Volunteer activities can include: washing sleeping mats, sorting donations, landscaping, painting, playing Bingo, and more. There are currently about 3,066 people living on the streets in San Antonio.                                                                    This number has increased from  2,743 number of homeless people count in 2019.


Mission Statement:  Haven for Hope’s mission is to offer a place of hope and new beginnings. They do that by providing an efficient system of care for people experiencing homelessness in San Antonio. Haven for Hope addresses the root cause of homelessness by offering  programs that meet each individuals’ needs.
