About Organism/SubcellularStreptomyces aureofaciens is a species of Streptomyces. It is also a source of many tetracycline antibiotics(Tetracyline, 2010). Tetracycline antibiotics is a group of broad-spectrum antibiotics whose general usefulness has been reduced with onset of the bacterial group. Tetracyclines are used to heal and treat urinary tract infections, intestinal infections, eye infections, gonorrhea, and is used in chlamydia treatments(Darken, Berenson & Shirk, 1960). Tetracyclines also treat acne, skin infections, and respitory tract infections ("The American Society," 2010) Tetracyclines are usually used first by physicians to see if it will help the infection. This medication can only be given with a physician's prescription (Darken, Berenson & Shirk, 1960).

About Glogster: Overall Glogster is a great resource to use. One positive thing about Glogster is that students can make easily make a website. If they want to add pictures or videos Glogster is one easy place to do that. Students can easily turn a simple project into something spectacular! Some negative things about Glogster is that it can be a little difficult to figure out and you also have to pay for it. Students or teachers may not have the money to pay for it. Overall though I would recommend Glogster to use in a classroom for students who are in fifth or sixth grade.
