Isaac Newton created the prism we know to split the sun's light into each individual ray showing us that light refracts. He then took this knowledge and created a reflecting telescope. He then demonstrated that "celestial bodies follow the laws of dynamics. These discoveries gave a huge "boost" to the scientific world which in turn set up for scientists to further explore these discoveries to discover more things about the world.

The Scientific Revolution is a period of time in which the world became to understand nature and the world more. People who contributed the most to this era were Galileo, Harvey, Bacon, and of course Isaac Newton. Technology was advancing, including the world's knowledge of medicine. People began to figure out nature to the point in which we could essentially overpower it.

Isaac Newton made the discovery of the binomial theorem (a formula for finding any power of a binomial without multiplying at length.). Also discovered that light refracts. Calculated an accurate estimate of the Earth's radius. Discovered what makes things fall and the rate and how it is related to the attraction between the object and the Earth's core and how we are able to live on a spherical planet. Came up with Newton's 3 Laws of Motion.

Isaac Newton was born December 25, 1642 in Woolsthorpe, England. Newton attended King's School when he was only 12, where he built things such as windmills, floating lanterns, sundials and many other artifices. When he was 19, he attended Trinity College in Cambridge where he achieved his bachelors but couldn't obtain his masters as his college was shut down due to disease. He then returned to Cambridge later to recieve his masters. He then became a proffessor of mathematics at the age of 27 and stayed there for 27 years.

Although everyone suggests Newton was the man behind the discovery of Universal Gravity, many modern day scientists have ideas that his competetor, Robert Hooke, had preformed the same experiments Newton did many years before he did, and that Newton had stole Hooke's idea and published it before he could, giving him the credit of discovering the Universal Law of Gravity.
