Isaac Newton

Isaac Newton

One day Isaac Newton sat under a tree and an apple fell on his head. He wondered why it didn't fall up. That is how he first thought of gravity.

Newton's Three Laws1. Objects at rest will stay at rest and objects in motion will stay in motion in a straight line unless acted upon by an unbalanced force. This means that something that is not moving will stay still unless you do something to it or something that is moving will keep moving unless an external force will make it stop. 2. Force is equal to mass times acceleration. Everyone unconciously knows the second law because they know that it is easier to move a lighter object in comparison to a heavier one. For example it is easier to kick a ball than a brick wall. 3. For every action there is always an opposite and equal reaction. The rocket's ACTION is to push down on the ground with the force of its powerful engines, and the REACTION is that the ground pushes the rocket upwards with an equal force.

These are the most famous.

Isaac Newton was born in 1642 and died in 1727 which means he lived to the age of 85.

Newton is considered to have contributed a greater portion to science that Einstein, though both contributed equally to humanity.

Isaac Newton was a physicist, mathematician, astrologist, natural philosophist, alchemist and theologist of the 17th century.

Known for :Newtonian mechanics, Universal gravitation, Calculus, Optics, Laws of motion General contribution to the power series.

This is a book he wrote explaining some of his theories.
