1) Libraries are becoming obsolete with books being swapped out for eReaders and Ebooks. Schools around the world are doing away with the text book in favor for the eBook.(Cynthia,2010).2)Apps for the Ipad include stories and educational games that can be accessed anytime any where. The Ipad is a portable device that gives the student 24/7 access to their education (Merchant,2015). 3)Student engagement with ICT and the Ipad is very high across all areas of learning. High engagement leads to high learning outcomes (Mango, 2015).
