*Adults are usually to 4-5 feet long.*It is thought that females lay up to 14 eggs, which hatch in 90 days*Snakes are usually three years old when the mature and start reproducing. *The venom of Brown Tree Snakes is mild and doesn't kill.

Characteristics

The Brown Tree Snake is native to Northeastern Australia. It was introduced to Guam accidentally in the early 1950s through military cargo. Soon after this, the brown tree snake started thriving because the lack of a natural predator there.

The Brown Tree Snake has eradicated most of the bird population on Guam, killing 9/11 birds there

Impact

To capture Brown Tree Snakes, trappers create traps with dead mice in them to lure the snakes in, killing them with Tylonol.
