Acne is a common human skin disease, characterized by areas of skin with seborrhea (scaly red skin), comedones (blackheads and whiteheads), pustules (pimples), nodules (large papules) and possibly scarring.

This cancer grows in the upper layer of the skin, can be produced by sun, arsenic and radiation exposure. This type can be found anywhere including the inside of the mouth and the genital area.

It grows in the lowest layer of the skin. As a cancer, early treatment is needed. This type appears on skin exposed to the sun. Look for: red or pink, irritated patches of skin.

Disease in which a loss of cells that give colour to the skin (melanocytes) results in smooth, white patches on normally pigmented skin. Is a common, often inherited disorder characterized by areas of well-defined, milky white skin.
