Insulator/Conductor - Logan

Insulators are materials that don't let heat or cool air through it. Some examples of insulators are rubber, wood, and aluminum. Conductors are materials that let heat or cool air through them easily. Some examples of conductors are iron, metal, and copper.

If you put something hot in here you wouldn't feel the heat on your hand because it's an insulator.

If you put something hot in here you would feel the heat on your hand because iron is a conductor.

A pot with a rubber handle won't let the heat through it, so it's an insulator.
