During research we found many interesting facts about Indian instrumental music. Although many of these amazing facts caught our eye one was the most intriging. The Bansuri, a flute like instrument, is in books. The most important collection of books to Aryans because that's what their original religion was based on. It was referenced in a chapter called Nayashastra in a book named Bhatara.

Fredrich Nietzscusic had said before,"Without music life would be a mistake." Indian instrumental music is one of the many types and categories of music. It is very fascinating because of the instruments used, the history, and where it was referenced in. There are many instruments used in Indian instrumental music. The instrument groups are plucked, bowed, single reed, double reed, free reed, flute, bag pipes, brass, hand drums, hand frame drums, stick drums, melodic, idiophones, electronic, and areophones. But in Ancient India there were the bansuri, harmonium, pakhawaj, rudra-vina, santur, sarangi, sarod, shehnai, surbahar, sita, tabla, and tanpura. The interesting part of one of these instruments is the Bansuri becaused it was referenced in an important collection of books called the Vedas and there is a whole chapter based on this in a book named Bharata called Nayashastra. Even some of the gods played instruments. The history of Indian instrumental music comes from the Aryans. It also says that it was spread to India, parts of Asia, and Europe. Obviously, these are the reasons why Indian instrumental music is so facinating. Which are the history of it, the types of instruments, and the references. Berthold Auerbach once claimed, "Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life."
