History

- The Indus River Civilization began around 2500 B.C. and they were located by Indus River Valley. - There were two twin capitals, Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro that were built on a grid, organized, and well planned out. - Later on, there was a decline in the civilization and the people were gone.

- India is located in Asia and is surrounded by mountains. They are the Himalayas and Hindu Kush located in North India. - India is divided into three plains: The Northern Plains, the Deccan Plateau, and the Coastal Plains.- In India, there are two monsoons which are seasonal winds and they are the Summer and Winter monsoons.

Geography

- The main religion in India is Hinduism and can be polytheistic or monotheistic depending on the point of view. - Brahman is a single force of life of all living organisms. - Karma is what goes around comes around. - There are three main Hindu Gods, Brahma (creator), Vishnu (preserver), and Shiva (destroyer).

Culture

India is the country that is shaped like a triangle.
