Children Immune System:Not as good because it hasn't built up any sort of imunity because it hasn't been exposed to any viruses. It needs more time to get better/become curedAdult Immune System (age about 25-38):Adults immune systems are better than childrens because they have been exposed to hundreds and thousands of germs and viruses. give them a much better immunity. Also, adults immune system work faster than childrens because they have encountered it before and "remember" how to eliminate them.

The ability to resist a particular toxin by the action of specific antibodies. Immunity can be strong or weak, short-lived or long-lasting, depending on the type of antigen it encounters, the amount of antigen, and the route by which the antigen enters the body. Immunity can also be influenced by inherited genes. When faced with the same antigen, some people will respond forcefully, others feebly, and some not at all.

Some people have immunity automatically in their genes. Some people need to acquire it by needles and pills.An immune response can be sparked not only by infection but also by immunization with vaccines. Some vaccines contain microorganisms—or parts of microorganisms—that have been treated so they can provoke an immune response but not full-blown disease.

Basicly when you are done with a cold, you will become immune to that cold if it comes back to your body. If you have a strong immune system you will be less vulnerable to an infectious disease then someone with a weaker immune system

Don’t smoke, Eat a diet high in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, and low in saturated fat, Exercise regularly, Maintain a healthy weight, Control your blood pressure, If you drink alcohol, drink only in moderation, Get adequate sleep, Take steps to avoid infection, such as washing your hands frequently and cooking meats thoroughly, and Get regular medical screening tests for people in your age group and risk category.
